Urban Analytics

This research seminar will investigate different urban spatial problems driven by the current COVID pandemic situation such as the future of transportation and education given the current COVID situation and beyond. The course is based in part on literature on spatial analysis and in part on newly emerging topics in urban analytics. The course aims to offer students tools for integrating spatial information and decision making with planning and design solutions. Students will work in teams and will participate in Hackathons and in joint research with Fairfax and Arlington county groups.
